Golf Range News Advert

Each TopPutt requires a dedicated ADSL line for data collection, software maintenance and download of marketing initiatives and promotions. World Golf Systems are marketing TopPutt on either a lease agreement or on a revenue-share basis, installing and maintaining the units at their own expense, via the ADSL line.

World Golf Systems' Sales Development Manager, Gary Smith, explained: "We have exhibited TopPutt at various golf and leisure shows and have received overwhelming interest in the game." TopPutt is already installed at various Center Parcs, Butlins, Pontins and Xscape venues and will be installed within many other holiday, amusement and golfing destinations over the next few months. He added "TopPutt can be an ideal added attraction to existing golf facilities whereby players can now add a little extra fun and excitement to their visit whilst practicing their putting skills. Remember the old adage, Drive for Show, Putt for Dough! TopPutt not only improves your putting, but also offers an additional revenue earner for the busy golf facility"

The Putting Edge of Technology

TopPutt, manufactured by Watford-based World Golf Systems Group, is a natural progression from the company's TopGolf system that revolutionised driving ranges.

In just a few years, the TopGolf concept has captured the public imagination to such an extent it has expanded to the USA and the Far east. With computer chips in each ball, TopGolf players receive instant feedback on how far they have hit a shot and are allocated points based on distance and accuracy, providing a system of scoring which enhances the overall experience, whilst offering a competitive edge not found elsewhere on driving ranges.

Now the company is set to break the mould again with TopPutt, a putting system utilising similar technology - and now you can enjoy a game of TopPutt at the Watford TopGolf Game Centre.

TopPutt is fun, fast, interactive and an addictive indoor putting game, consisting of 10 balls per game. The objective is to score a maximum of 800 points by hitting as many numbered and brightly coloured holes as possible within a carefully designed artificial putting green utilising state-of-the-art technology.

It is both compelling and competitive, with the on-screen information providing instructions to each player on how to achieve the highest possible score and bonus points. TopPutt adds an additional 'pressure putt' on the final ball by hitting a strategically placed prize hole! The leader board shows the daily and all-time highest scores with competitions and leagues adding to the excitement and offering further prize-winning opportunities.

With a footprint of 7m x 3.1m and height of 2.3m, this coin-operated game is designed so that it is fully automated with remote access, making you money without you even being there.
